The First Generation of Celebrity Twins
Phinnaeus and Hazel
It seems like only yesterday that America’s sweetheart Julia Roberts gave birth to her beautiful twins, Phinnaeus and Hazel Moder. However, it was actually four years ago! Now Julia and husband Danny have added little Henry to the Roberts’ household as well.
D’Lila Star and Jessie James
Sean P Diddy Combs and his girlfriend Kim Porter welcomed their twins into the world in December 2006. Will twin girls D’Lila Star and Jessie James, named after their grandparents, follow in their father’s trend setting footsteps?
Dexter Henry Lorcan and Frank Harlem James
Songstress Diana Krall and husband Elvis Costello added ‘parents to twin boys’ to their long list of credentials in December 2006 with the birth of their little ones. Dexter and Frank, now nearly two, were the final twin celebrity babies born in 2006.
Eden and Savannah
These adorable little girls arrived in February 2007 much to the delight of Marcia Cross and her husband Tom Mahoney. Now nearly two, Eden and Savannah are often photographed around town attached to their mom.
Darby and Sullivan
Darby and Sullivan, born in February 2007, joined the McDreamy family of Patrick Dempsey, his wife Jillian and their daughter Talula. Perhaps the twin boys will one day double date with Marcia’s little girls, Eden and Savannah.
A Twintastic 2008
Max and Emme
Born in February 2008, little Max and Emme are the twins of doting parents Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. Their arrival came as no surprise as Mom and Dad had admitted to trying for a child for months.
Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline
The newest Jolie-Pitts are perhaps the most famous celebrity babies in the world. And they can hardly even sit up! Knox and Vivienne’s birth was a much-anticipated event making Angelina, Brad, Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh now a family of six, and there is no sign the proud parents will be stopping anytime soon!
Finley and Harper
Born October 7, 2008, the newest twins to join the celebrity ranks are Lisa Marie Presley’s baby girls. Finley and Harper are the first children born to Lisa Marie and her husband, Michael Lockwood. Lisa Marie also has a 19 year old daughter Riley and 15 year old son Benjamin with ex-husband Danny Keough.
More Twins on the way!
Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller have announced they are also expecting twins, due in April. The duo will join Sheens’ children from previous relationships, Cassandra, 23, Sam, 4 and Lola, 3.
Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell are also said to be expecting twin girls. The babies will be their first and Romijn has stated in previous interviews that they used fertility treatment to conceive.
The world is keeping their eyes peeled for the next celebrity baby boom. Who knows, maybe the next generation of celebrity babies will bring an epidemic of triplets.
