With that being said, those who are tired of hearing about Paris Hilton’s latest escapades please … stop reading now!
According to the July 23, 2007 issue of In Touch magazine and E! Online, this ditzy, Chihuahua loving, designer purse toting, Hollywood socialite is working on a new career. Well actually, she’s really trying to revamp herself as a top pop star since her self titled debut album flopped last summer. Recently it’s been noted that she was dropped by her record label Warner Bros.
If you think this latest career venture is just a scheme think again. Paris told In Touch magazine exclusively, that she wants to focus on her singing career and is working with the best teachers, coaches and producers the music business has to offer including hip-hop producer Scott Storch. According to Rolling Stone Magazine, Storch has worked with many super stars throughout his career. Most recently, Storch has worked with pop music icons such as Timbaland, Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Fat Joe, 50 Cent and many more.
"I'm already working on my new record," Hilton tells E! Online. "I've been in meetings with Scott [Storch] and we've been working on it."
Recruiting music producers and vocal coaches who’ve worked with some of pop music’s greatest starts, Paris is determined to make her next album a hit. She even plans on going on tour with this album as shooting for The Simple Life last summer created a conflict in her schedule and she wasn’t able to go on tour to promote her album. This year however, Paris won’t make that same mistake.
"Of all her projects, her music is the most important to her," says a source close to Paris. "She really works very hard to be taken seriously in the industry and make good music people will enjoy."
Paris’ second album is scheduled to be released in the fall of 2007 and rumour has it, it may actually be a good one! Will I go and buy it? Probably not however you have to love the girl for trying!
