Perez Hilton is a gossip columnist, television personality, and web site blogger. He was born March 23, 1978 in Miami, Florida USA, according to the Internet Movie Database (IMDB). His birth name is Mario Armando Lavandeira, Jr.
Perez Hilton has one sister, Barbara Lavandeira. He graduated with honours from New York University where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Drama from The Tisch School of the Arts.
Before his career as a blogger, Perez Hilton tried to establish a career in acting. He briefly worked in media relations and as a freelance writer. For a brief time he was the managing editor of Instinct Magazine.
Within the first six months of establishing his first boggling web site named PageSixSixSix, the “Insider” TV news program called his blog Hollywood’s Most-Hated Web site. The comment caused a surge of visitors to Hilton's blog, temporarily causing the site to crash. Hilton claimed that he had more than eight million page views within twenty four hours.

According to Wikipedia Encyclopedia the Hilton blog was the 143rd most trafficked website in the US, with mostly female visitors aged 18-24. His blog ranks 491st most trafficked website on the entire Internet. In addition to posting gossip about celebrities he posts celebrity photos with his own captions.
Miley Cyrus vs Paparazzi Oops
One example of Hilton's comments about what celebrities say is when he weighed in on a Miley Cyrus' tweet. Miley Cyrus tweeted that being a papparazzi is a disgusting job.
“Being a paparazzi is the most Disgusting job imaginable...being followed around by creepy photographers is Not in the Job description!” Tweeted Cyrus.
Perez Hilton countered with a comment in his blog that some of the paps were Miley's friends: "Your [sic] always chummy with that one videographer!"
Britney Spears Circus Tour
An example of Hilton's involvement in celebrity affairs is his part in the Las Vegas Britney Spears Circus Tour. The Icelebz celebrity web site reports Hilton saying on his blog that the ‘Circus’ Tour will be made into a 3-D Concert Film. Hilton appears in the show during the first part "...of a macabre circus introduction video."
Britney’s manager Adam Leber tweeted that what Britney Spears fans have been waiting for, the 3-D concert film, will be "...coming soon!”
The Perez Hilton blog content, such as the remarks about Miley Cyrus and his involvement with Britney Spears, should continue to attract a large audience.
